Week 26!

Yeah.. We are almost 27 gone, but have to get the details up! 😉

At long last our little swimmer can see!

For the first time ever, our wee babe’s eyelids have finally opened (remember: they were fused shut previously) and she’s probably having her first moments of sight as I write this (or maybe it already happened while I was brushing my teeth or browsing the internet or something).

In addition to taking in her first visual impressions of her comfy amniotic-filled studio, my little human-bun recently acquired the ability to move her head around!

That’s right, if my bun were clever enough (which she’s not – yet), she could engage in that most basic of non-verbal communication – the head shake/nod. Not to mention, gawking!

In further anti-alien developments: our little super star’s head hair is starting to grow in! (wonder if she will have a similar looking hair of big sister Bun! ♡) Who knows, maybe a cute little cowlick or two is springing into position right now – the first of years of cute-but-stubborn bed-head.

Our wee piggy’s toenails have recently grown in and she’s still slowly piling up fat beneath her still-loose-n-wrinkly skin.

Most importantly, her brain tissue and neurons are all developing at a rapid pace, increasing her (genius-level?) brain activity, which will continue to function at accelerated levels for the first eight years of childhood! MY PRINCESS/Nerd ♡♡♡
