BJD Love

I found a new love recently. This past summer I stumbled across some pictures.. They were of the cutest thing I had ever seen.

They are called Lati Yellows! They are a Tiny sized type of resin dolls with ball joints to make them very pose able. I discovered there is tons of people who make clothes and a accessories for them. They are kind of grown-ups dolls, very expensive, hand made in Korea, very small – just 16 cm, cute and utterly addictive!

BJD’s (Ball Jointed Dolls) There are 100’s of types and sizes. Some very realistic, some like a fantasy. All brands have their style and because of the many options in accessories like wigs, eyes and face-ups, one dolls sculpt can have 100s of looks to fin anyone’s taste.

Let me share some of mine

Im deffo the lover of all things Kawaii!

Dark currents – Epla

I came over this Acrylic on canvas  at  Galleri Angelshaug on Epla (norwegian type Etsy) and I just fell in love! The style of this artist is so unique and wonderful – It kind of makes me happy and sad at the same time and Im not sure why it moves me this much! I love the characters and details and not to forget the colors – mystery springs to mind as well as a happy childhood – its just od and cute! To understand what Im writing about – go check out her Epla store for more of her amazing work or simply enjoy her website http://www.angelshaug.com.

>Skirted longies converted!!!

>

So almost a year ago, I got a pair of MM Malayan Orchid skirted longies off spots. They were stunning and I fell in love. Got them for DD and they were so cute. They did however not get the love they deserved – as you can see the skirt it self was just a bit to big for little DD at the time and they kind of pulled the longies down. She was so little at the time that the skirt was more in the way
I did love them too much to sell them on and when I took them out to try on DD again they were way too short

I ended up asking my mum what to do and we decided to convert them! (I know this might be like swearing in Gods house – but I loved the thing too much to let it go!)

Do you remember these, knit by KellyR? *pic borrowed from Ravelry*
